Our Services: Since 2015, we’ve proudly served Houston’s Districts B and D through our Out of School Time Program and more—all focused on one mission: creating sustainable and equitable communities. Here are just a few ways we’re making an impact.

What We
Offer

01

Day Events

Day Events are learning experiences held at local community spaces—such as buildings, city parks, or county parks—designed to meet youth and their families where they are. These events include drone camps, college tours, musical and arts programming, as well as mental health and medical awareness campaigns. Each event provides vital resources, exposure, and opportunities that support education, creativity, and wellness within the community.

03

Youths and Adults Swimming Lessons

We offer free or low-cost youth and adult swimming lessons at local city or county parks, providing essential water safety skills. These lessons help families enjoy pool time together safely while building confidence and promoting healthy recreation.

05

Community Outreach Events

Community Outreach Events bring vital information and resources directly to residents of Houston’s Districts B and D. Held at parks, community centers, and local churches, these events build trust and promote sustainable living—meeting people where they are.

02

Camping Events

Camping Events are 2–4 day trips to Texas parks where youth and families experience glamping, tent camping, or cabins. Activities include STEM, outdoor skills, mentorship, wellness, and conservation—building character and inspiring change from within.

04

Workforce Development Opportunities

We offer fast-track workforce development programs that lead to high-paying careers through certifications and licenses. Our Water/Wastewater training, led by a certified TCEQ instructor, prepares participants for entry-level Water Operator (Class D) roles in just 60 hours—offering starting salaries around $35K. We assist with job placement within 45 days of completion and plan to expand into HVAC and Electrical licensing to create even more career pathways.

06

Financial Literacy Workshops for Women/Disadvantaged Small Businesses and  Low-Income Families.

Our Financial Literacy Workshops empower small businesses and families by teaching practical budgeting and saving strategies. Participants learn to stretch monthly incomes to achieve goals like homeownership, college savings, or major purchases—proving that lasting change can begin at home.

I have always wanted to enjoy camping with my family, but it was not an option for us due to cost or timing, but your Out of School Time Program has allowed me to do more Outdoor Activities with my family, that I couldn't do with my older son's. Thank you for this, Ms. Frances
