Our mission is to create sustainability for all. While our nation offers the promise that effort leads to success, economic disparities in our communities make that hope hard to hold. Many face limited access to opportunities, food insecurity, and few pathways for youth and young adults to explore their futures. We focus on building mental resilience and navigating these challenges together—one person, one family at a time—working as a community to overcome obstacles and create lasting change.

Abstract Visions: Art, Beats, Comedy, Lyrics, Music and Poetry!
Abstract Visions, in partnership with Abstract Entertainment, supports emerging low-income artists across all disciplines by providing opportunities to showcase their work, gain industry skills, and build professional networks. Through performances and events held at venues across the city, artists can grow their fan base, develop their craft, and access resources typically out of reach—empowering them to thrive creatively and economically.

Out of School Time Program with College/Job Skills to Completion
The BOH Out of School Time Program with College/Job Skills to Completion serves at-risk, low-income middle and high school youth and their families—including parents, guardians, siblings, and in some cases, their own children. Through camping trips and day outings beyond their usual environments, participants return inspired to create change. The program offers exposure to STEM and outdoor skills, career exploration, character and team building, mentorship, mental wellness, and conservation.

Our Legacy Fund
Our Legacy Fund is a nontraditional funding source on track to become a CDFI. It will provide support for very low-income homebuyers, microloans for women and disadvantaged small businesses, and short-term loans for affordable housing and community commercial projects. We also offer financial literacy workshops and generational wealth-building strategies to empower families and entrepreneurs—creating lasting change and building stronger, more self-sustaining communities.

Destined for One Million and Change!
Destined for One Million and Change is a comprehensive economic development plan to transform our communities into thriving, sustainable areas. It focuses on building generational wealth through affordable housing for very low-income families, while also creating wealth opportunities for churches and community landowners. The “I Am A Provider” apprenticeship program equips youth with skills for high-paying careers, and the Our Legacy Fund supports growth through vital financial tools and resources.
